Pascual Florès

Antonio Marí, known as “the storm”, built many ships in the Torrevieja region on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, most notably the famous pailebote “Pascual Flores” in 1917.
In its early years, “Pascual Flores” main function was the export of fruit, salt and general cargo to Mediterranean ports, the North and West coasts of Africa.
However, over the years, the vessel changed ownership and underwent significant modifications to its structure, finally ending up in England.
In 1999 Torrevieja City Council purchased the “Pascual Flores”, which was languishing in very poor condition Milford Haven port to honour the memory of this glorious seafaring past. Their main objectives were for the Pascual Flores to represent Torrevieja’s seafaring character and become the flagship and roving ambassador for the city.
Pascual Flores has already sailed along the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts several times, visiting many countries and welcoming hundreds of visitors and sailing guests.
